Our trustees

"We provide training and development opportunities in social, office and IT skills for people with learning difficulties. Our aim is to train people to get the skills that will help them to get a job and achieve their potential in life."

The trustees are responsible for the strategic development of Working with Words.

Their responsibilities include:

Overseeing the budget and ensuring the finances for the organisation are accountable.
Overseeing legal decisions and ensuring the constitution, resolution, listings etc of the company are being adhered to.
Requesting information from the Manager to ensure that s/he is running the business in an accountable manner.
Representing the company at formal meetings such as funding reviews if necessary.
Contributing to an interview panel for new staff if necessary.
